Whisper’s RPF Half Marathon Terms and Conditions

Fundraising

1. You commit to raising at least the minimum sponsorship (£350) for Whisper for your place in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon. If you cannot raise the minimum sponsorship, you may choose to pay the balance yourself or you may lose your place.

2. Your full minimum sponsorship amount must be received no later than 4 weeks after the event.

3. If you do not take part in the event for any reason, the sponsorship money raised will be treated as donations and will not be refunded.

4. You agree to raise all money legally and complying with the advice given in the fundraising pack.

5. All funds raised for Whisper through the event will be made payable to Whisper.

Data protection

6. You agree to Whisper storing your registration information on their database. The details will not be passed to any third party apart from the event organiser.

7. You agree that Whisper may share your details with the event organiser (Royal Parks Foundation) whose data protection provisions can be found here: https://royalparkshalf.com/terms-and-conditions/ .

8. You give Whisper permission to use any photographs/videos taken of you at this event for Whisper’s publicity or fundraising.

Other conditions

9. You need to be contactable between your registration and the event date. If we contact you requesting a reply and we do not hear back from you within 3 weeks then you could lose your place. We will let you know before this happens.

10. You confirm that, as far as you know, your general health and fitness are good. You take full responsibility for your training. You take part in this event at your own risk.

11. You confirm that you will be aged 17 or over on the day of the event, 11 October 2015.
