Fundraising from Businesses
Raising money from businesses can be very cost-effective. Whisper has had some success in raising money from businesses1:
- Little and Large, a London-based insurance broker, helped with the purchase of the Lugangu site and provides significant support each month for Whisper’s outreach programme.
- Etihad Airways donated a free flight and has provided some publicity for Whisper on their YouTube channel 2. Etihad now has direct flights from the UK to Uganda and Whisper is staying in touch with them.
