Small cash donations

Whisper can claim a Gift Aid top up of 25% on cash donations up to £8000 per UK financial year from UK-based collection boxes and street collections under the Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme https://www.gov.uk/claim-gift-aid/small-donations-scheme .

Only cash or contactless donations up to £30 per person qualify for the scheme, and cash donations must be taken to a UK bank in cash and deposited in Whisper’s account. The collection date and the date the money was banked both need to be recorded.

If Whisper’s supporters are holding collections, then provided they have Whisper’s bank details to deposit the cash, their collections can qualify for the top up too.
